Slow down before you act.

Most scams rely on you moving fast. Before you click, call back, or send anything, run this short checklist against the message or offer in front of you. Then keep a dated, tamper-evident receipt of what you saw — useful if you decide to report it.

A slow-down tool, not a guarantee. VerifyFirst flags common warning signs so you can pause and think — it does not catch every scam. A "no obvious signs" result is not a guarantee that a message is safe. When in doubt, contact the person or company yourself using a number or address you already trust — not one from the message.

Verify a receipt

Paste a receipt you (or someone else) saved. Veracity recomputes its hash and checks its signature — if a single character of the description, flags, or verdict was changed, it fails.
